Travel the World with CEC’s CELTA Course!

CELTA Teacher Training PostCork English College is delighted to announce that we will now be offering a CELTA course! It is a certificate in teaching English to speakers of other languages and is an introductory teaching qualification awarded by Cambridge Assessment English, which is part of the University of Cambridge. It is one of the most recognised ELT (English Language Teaching) qualifications. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be ready to pack their bags and teach around the world!

Candidates should ask themselves the following questions to determine if this is the right course for them. Am I interested in an exciting career change but have no experience? Have I taught languages with little or no training? Have I taught other subjects but wish to get into teaching languages? If you can relate to any of these, then the CELTA course at CEC would be the perfect next step! The course may also be suitable for those who have some experience but would like an updated course, a more practical qualification or a certificate which is recognised worldwide.

During this course, students will focus on topics such as learners and teachers, language analysis and awareness, language skills, planning and resources for different contexts as well as developing teaching skills and professionalism. We take pride in our high teaching standards as well as our personalised touch. We will be holding the next course from May 5th to 29th from 9am until 5pm for five days a week. We would be delighted to welcome CELTA students to CEC and are excited to be able to open up a world of new experiences for you!
