Cork English College is a family business established in 1978 and still jointly run by Marc and Valery Cullen. Since taking in our first students 40 years ago, we are have progressed to become the largest private language school in Cork, while still retaining our family-run ethos.

Cork English College is a centre for excellence for English Language teaching in Cork. Quality English, the international brand for language learning, selected Cork English College (CEC) as the first Irish Q.E. college. We offer a wide range of courses for both Adults and Juniors.

CEC offers the world’s most valuable range of English examinations and qualifications for language learners and teachers. We are the only privately owned college in Ireland that is an authorised Cambridge ESOL, IELTS, BULATS, TOEIC and Trinity College of London examination centre in Cork.

With its reputation for being the safest city in Ireland, and a warm friendly atmosphere Cork, Ireland’s second city (or ‘The Real Capital’ as you may hear locals call it!) has a rich and colourful heritage. Cork is famous for its excellent festivals and relaxed welcoming people.
